Ratingen, a town of around 90,000 inhabitants 10 km away from Düsseldorf, is lucky enough to have several Brauereausschank of Alt breweries. It can be reached with the number 712 tram or S-Bahn.

Not having suffered the war damage of near-neighbour Düsseldorf, Ratingen's centre still retains many delighjtful old houses. Luckily, many of
Düsseldorf's Alt breweries have an Ausschank (sort of a tied house) in Ratingen - Uerige, Füchschen, Frankenheim. Schlüssel. Other Alt brewers from the region have outlets, too, like Diebels.

Pub in a rather grand sone building that was once the town hall. You shouldn't have any trouble finding it - it's on the market place right next to the church.

The building was first mentioned in 1300, though its present form dates from 1751.
