| Why should I produce a pub guide for a small town in Niedersachsen?
Because of its one great (beer) call to fame - as home of Gose. Not that this medieaval town of 45,000 inhabitants doesn't have other charms. It's a UNESCO-listed world heritage site. |

| A pub now tied to the putative King of Bavaria's brewery.
The location is both historic and convenient - in the cellar of the town
hall. Inside it's a typical cellar beerhall - big pine tables, vaulted ceiling. In the Summer, there is a beer garden on the market place. Sounds very nice. |
